Hospitality Day in Tashkent, March 27

“Helvar lighting control systems are not only a tool for meeting international lighting standards, but also an opportunity to increase a facility’s profitability by creating a comfortable, human-centric environment — making it more attractive and profitable,” — this was the key message of Elena Rasskazova, Director of HDC Georgia & CIS, at the Hospitality Day event held in Tashkent on March 27 at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

In her presentation, she outlined the main objectives of lighting control, such as energy efficiency, comfort, and ease of use, all of which help improve any space. Elena also emphasized the simplicity of the system architecture, which reduces the time required for designers to prepare working documentation and allows for more flexible system integration tailored to each client’s unique requirements. Demonstrating a commitment to an individual approach, Elena invited the audience to share their experience using Helvar systems and to describe their installation goals. A representative of the Samarkand Tourism Center was invited on stage and spoke about the convenient brightness control of lighting fixtures in the complex’s congress center. Meanwhile, Cluster General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton, Alexander Bakanov, highlighted the importance of Helvar systems in creating comfortable lighting in the hotel’s public areas.

A part of the presentation was dedicated to the effects of biodynamic lighting on human circadian rhythms, its role in creating a comfortable atmosphere, and in boosting productivity throughout the day. The goal of Helvar’s Light over Time tool is to balance artificial lighting in everyday environments and make lighting cycles resemble natural ones, smoothly transitioning from warm to cool tones—supporting concentration in the morning and visual comfort in the evening.
